HEALTH CARE FREEDOM
TEA PARTY
JULY 17, 2009

We need Patriots in front of
EVERY CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE IN WASHINGTON
at 9 am on July 17 for one hour
as part of a nationwide, simultaneous protest to say

WE OPPOSE GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE!

"We the People" must send this message to Congress: millions of us, across the country, taking it to the streets in a simultaneous protest against the mighty effort to deprive us of our right to determine our own health care choices.

From Florida to Washington, from Maine to California, from Alaska to Hawaii and everywhere in between you and thousands of other Tea Party Patriots will assemble together outside the offices of those who are elected to represent us, and make our voices heard once again.

We need you and anyone else you can bring in order to achieve our goal of having massive numbers to make our point outside every single district office in the country. Take 1 hour off of work on July 17th to show up and speak out.

We can make history again. The time is NOW.

Washington State Tea Party Organizers:
Washington's 11 member congressional delegation maintains offices in 18 cities across the state. Tea Party Patriots needs a volunteer coordinator for each city. Please contact Sally at Seattle Sons & Daughters of Liberty if you're willing to coordinate covering an office(s)s in your area.

FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT, EVERY OFFICE MUST BE COVERED as evenly as possible.
We want to avoid 500 in one city and 50 in another if we can.

Please respect the following rules to ensure the maximum impact of our message across the nation to our "non-representing representatives" on Capitol Hill.

  1. The message of the protest:

NO UNIVERSAL, SINGLE-PAYER GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
IN THE UNITED STATES. Health care reform belongs in the private sector. It is the only message of this Tea Party. Other subjects will dilute the message and will be a distraction. Please ask your volunteers to limits their signs, flags, t-shirts, and banners to only this message.

  2. We wll assemble peacefully outside on the sidewalk or other public, safe space in front of our state's congressional offices.

  3. We will remember others are conducting business unrelated to our protest and should be able to move past us freely. There will be no formal agenda or public speakers.

  4. Coordinators should encourage participants to write letters and cards which can be delivered during the hour by coordinators and/or representatives of the group.

This list is organized alphabetically by city, then by the senators or representatives with offices within that city.
